03 · certification
FAR 91.411 and FAR 91.413 Inspections
If you operate under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) in controlled airspace, you need FAR 91.411 testing. If you operate with an ATC transponder, FAR 91.413 testing is required. Testing must be performed by an FAA-certificated repair station, aircraft manufacturer, or authorized entity.
We perform both inspections using properly calibrated equipment in full compliance with FAA standards. Give us a call and we'll get you on the calendar and keep you current.

Which Garmin units do you install?
We install the full Garmin aviation lineup, including:

Do I have to upgrade my whole panel, or can you install just one unit?
Either works. Some owners come to us for a single radio or transponder swap; others want a complete modernization. We’ll tell you what you actually need, what you don’t, and what it’ll cost — no upselling.
Do you install autopilots?
Yes. We install full autopilot systems, including the Garmin GFC 500 and GFC 600. We handle the servos, wiring, configuration, and testing so it works correctly the day you fly it home.
Can you fix work another shop did?
Yes, and we do it often. If a system was never installed right, a radio never quite worked, or the software was never configured properly, bring it to us. We trace the root cause, correct it, and tell you straight what went wrong.
Can you find intermittent problems that come and go?
Yes. Intermittent faults, unexplained breaker trips, and "it only acts up in flight" issues are some of the most common problems we get called on. We use a systematic diagnostic process instead of throwing parts at it.
Do you perform Part 91.411 and 91.413 inspections?
Yes. We perform FAA-required pitot-static checks (91.411) and transponder checks (91.413). Both are required every 24 calendar months to fly IFR.
