What's your typical turnaround time?
Turnaround time ranges from a couple of days to several weeks, depending on the complexity of the work and equipment lead times. A transponder check or minor repair can typically be turned around quickly. A full panel build or complex avionics upgrade takes considerably longer. We'll give you an honest timeline upfront — no surprises.
Does Avionics Shop, Inc. perform FAA Part 91.411 and 91.413 inspections?
Yes. We perform FAA-required pitot-static system tests (91.411) and transponder checks (91.413). These are required every 24 calendar months for IFR operations. Call us at 208-733-4855 to schedule your inspection before your currency lapses.
Can you fix avionics that were installed or worked on by another shop?
Yes, and it's something we do regularly. If your avionics are malfunctioning, intermittent, or were poorly installed, we can diagnose the problem and correct it. We have years of experience identifying the root cause of issues and getting your aircraft back to where it should be.
Do you work with pilots from out of state?
Yes, and we often have pilots fly in from out of the area.
